COVID-19 vaccines are now available to everyone 5 years of age and older. This includes children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. The vaccine has been reviewed and authorized by the FDA and is widely considered one of the most important tools we have in protecting our communities from the virus.
At MediOAK Pharmacy, we offer Covid-19 vaccinations on a walk-in basis from Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM. Saturday appointments are also available. No referral needed, no long wait times.

Am I Eligible for a Booster?
If you completed your primary Covid-19 vaccine series, you may be eligible for a booster shot depending on how long ago you were vaccinated and which vaccine you received. Booster shots help to maintain and strengthen the protection offered by the initial vaccination series, especially as immunity may decrease over time.
The CDC recommends that eligible individuals get their booster as soon as they are able. Our pharmacists can review your vaccination record and advise you on whether a booster is right for you.
What to Expect When You Come In
- Walk in or call ahead to confirm availability at our Sugar Land location
- A short health screening questionnaire will be completed before your shot
- The injection itself takes less than a minute
- You will be asked to remain at the pharmacy for 15 minutes post-vaccination for observation
- You will receive documentation of your vaccination for your records
Are There Any Side Effects?
Like all vaccines, the Covid-19 vaccine can cause mild side effects. These are normal signs that your immune system is responding and building protection. Most side effects go away within a day or two.
- Soreness, redness, or swelling at the injection site
- Fatigue or mild headache
- Chills or low-grade fever
- Nausea in some cases
